Citytech Unveils finPOS Mini at NAS-IT Tech Expo 2025
Kathmandu, Nepal – November 2025 – Citytech Group Pvt. Ltd. officially unveiled finPOS Mini at the NAS-IT Tech Expo 2025, held at Heritage Garden, Sanepa, on 7–8 November 2025. The launch marks an important step in Citytech’s mission to make digital payments more accessible and affordable for merchants across Nepal.
In the event, Citytech showcased the future of affordable digital payments with the official unveiling of finPOS mini- a compact, user-friendly, and cost-effective device that enables merchants to accept both card and QR payments through a single device. Supporting Visa, Mastercard, UPI, NepalPay, NepalPay QR, Fonepay, and SmartQR, the device delivers a secure and seamless payment experience while simplifying day-to-day business operations.
Visitors to the Citytech booth experienced finPOS mini firsthand through live demonstrations throughout the expo. Attendees completed real transactions using the device, including purchasing beverages directly through finPOS mini, showcasing its speed, simplicity, and ease of use. The demonstrations also highlighted the device’s e-receipt functionality, promoting convenience while reducing paper usage.
A major highlight of the event was the signing of Letters of Intent (LOIs) with four leading financial institutions, Global IME Bank, Machhapuchhre Bank, Nepal Investment Mega Bank, and Siddhartha Bank to explore the adoption of finPOS Mini within their payment ecosystems. The agreements reflect growing confidence in the product’s potential to provide affordable and scalable acquiring solutions to merchants nationwide.
